HTX Z out of Houston, Texas started doing music at a young age. When he was 11 years old, the doctors told his mother that he had an irregular heartbeat, so playing sports was out of the picture. As an alternative, HTX Z decided to write music. His father had rapped, so he gravitated towards hip hop and started off with just writing verses. In high school HTX Z got more involved in music, theater and production. His first performance was “I Heard Em Say” by Kanye West. Over the years HTX Z has focused on his art and has improved as a musician all around. He went from a young kid on stage forgetting his lyrics to an artist that keeps every detail of craft in mind on and off stage.
